January Jumpstart

I attended a Mary Kay January Jump Start this morning...boy was it awesome! I heard some great tips and I wanted to keep the notes here for future reference.

Life as I know it

last week was great

good to get back into the swing of things

basketball, subbing, dance class, basketball, sleepover, Mary Kay, basketball

this week has been even better

more of the same

however I went to the Amazing Queen of Glamour – Director Suzanne Lozano's color workshop on Saturday and learned so much more about our glamour products (even our skin care products!) and have been complimented many times this week about my makeup....i had a dear friend tell me that i needed to be wearing more blush...who knew?

i'm looking forward to the three day weekend, another sleepover for the girls, and more basketball and subbing

Destiny

So, the holiday break is over tomorrow for all of us. Boo. The girls went back to school today. Hubby goes back to work tomorrow. And I have to throw myself into my destiny tomorrow. 

It is time for a bunch of cliches/quotes for me the new year. Working on my resolutions and goals to post this week.

It is the first day of the rest of my life.

Do work.

God didn't have time to make a nobody, just a somebody.

Make work your favorite.

Do or do not, there is no try.

I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

Early bird catches the worm.

It is better to shoot for the stars and miss because you will still reach the moon, than not shoot for anything (or however that goes).
